Lot Clearing
Raw land has to become a build site, a pasture or just a usable piece of ground, and that is the call we get. If your lot is wooded, overgrown or covered in stumps from an old clearing, the trees, brush and stumps have to come out before you can see what you are actually building on. We take the trees down and dig the stumps with our excavation equipment, chainsaws and attachments, then push the brush and move the logs and debris. We clear to your goals. Some owners want everything gone down to bare dirt; others want to keep the good trees and open up a building footprint or a view. We talk through it first so the right stuff stays and the rest gets handled.
What a clearing job takes off the ground
- 01Taking down trees and brush inside the clearing footprint with excavation equipment, chainsaws and attachments.
- 02Selective clearing to preserve the trees you want to keep.
- 03Digging stumps and root balls out whole so they do not regrow or leave a hazard.
- 04Pushing and moving the brush, logs and debris.
- 05Talking through what happens to the logs, brush and debris before we start, so nothing is left that you did not plan for.
- 06An initial rough grade so the cleared ground is usable, not a moonscape.
Residential, Commercial & Agricultural Lot Clearing
Residential
Most residential lot clearing is opening up a building footprint, a driveway path and a yard while keeping the trees that make the property worth living on. We mark what stays before we start.
Commercial
Commercial lot clearing usually means a full clearing for a pad, a parking area or a building site, with stumps and roots out and the ground left ready for the next step.
Agricultural
On farm ground, lot clearing opens space for barns, equipment sheds and lanes, or takes back ground that has grown up in brush and saplings over the years.
